ThredUp, the well-known re-commerce site, is leading a slate of six companies to the public equity markets Friday. Ikena Oncology, the first of the group to begin trading, soared nearly 91%.
The debuts follow a questionable performance by initial public offerings on Thursday. Of the six stocks that started trading Thursday, five of the companies broke, or fell below their offer price. Only Olink Holdings (ticker: OLK), a Swedish proteomics company, soared 80% in its first day.
