International stocks trading in New York finished mixed Tuesday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts slipped 0.1% to 165.97. The European index fell 0.2% to 146.76 and the Latin American index decreased 1.8% to 176.69. Meanwhile, the Asian index rose 0.2% to 225.84 and the emerging-markets index notched up 0.2% to 372.14.
Vodafone Group PLC's ADRs rose 4.7% on Tuesday after the U.K.-based telecommunications company reported a fall in pretax profit for the first half of fiscal 2022 but raised its guidance for the full year.
AstraZeneca PLC's ADRs tumbled 3.6% after the pharmaceuticals giant said Tuesday it has delivered along with its partners two billion doses of their Covid-19 vaccine and to more than 170 countries.
Imperial Brands PLC's ADRs slipped by 1.8% on Tuesday despite the tobacco group reported an improved profit for the year ended Sept. 30, mainly driven by one-offs, and said it is well placed to manage inflation.
