Shares of Getaround Inc. on Friday plunged on its first day of trading on the New York Stock Exchange after it merged with the blank check company InterPrivate II Acquisition Corp.
At 12:10 p.m. ET, shares of Getaround were down 66% at $3.00.
The San Francisco car-sharing platform said that the business combination was approved on Wednesday by the board and shareholders of the special purpose acquisition company.
